Volunteers Needed
If you enjoy nature on
the water, then why not help with a clean up and enjoy the rest of
the day paddling. Friends Of Berkeley Blueways will be planning
monthly clean ups and paddles on blueways in Berkeley County.
Each clean up will last approximately two-three hours unless
otherwise noted. Local paddlers will be ava...ilable
to paddle with you after the clean up and showcase some of our
trails. The meet up/clean up in July will take place in Cross at the
Duck Pond. Volunteers will meet at the Fred Day boat landing at 8:00
am on July 9th. We plan to clean the landing and campsites along the
beach. After the clean up we will explore the Duck Pond and the
coves in the area.
Please e-mail Archie at ilike2kayak@juno.com if you plan to attend.
