Eligibility

Litter control organizations, beautification groups, government organizations, neighborhood associations and nonprofit organizations in South Carolina are eligible to apply for these trees.

Requirements

The recipient of this grant must plant the donated trees on public spaces (i.e. town/neighborhood entryways, parks, schools, churches) accessible to all citizens.

AVAILABLE TREE SPECIES

All trees are between 2 – 6 feet in height, 1 – 1.5 inch in diameter and are in 5 gallon nursery pots. Click on link for a description of each species.

Dogwood (White) (Cornus florida x C. kousa)

Nellie Stevens Holly (Ilex x ‘Nellie R. Stevens’)

Red Maple (Acer Rubrum)

Thuja Green Giant (Thuja standishii x plicata ‘Green Giant’)
