Organized in 1987, the South Carolina Litter Control Association (SCLCA) promotes litter enforcement, protects the environment, and helps to heighten public awareness of the problems associated with litter. PalmettoPride provides training to local code enforcement officials and provides staff support for SCLCA and works with county officials to develop and improve comprehensive code enforcement and litter control ordinances.
To further our efforts to increase the enforcement of South Carolina’s state litter laws, PalmettoPride provides funding to support professional development for SCLCA’s 127 agency members across 49 organizations.
