37th Annual Beach Sweep / Creek Sweep

***September 19, 2026 – 9AM to 11AM***

Meet at the 53rd Avenue N Cherry Grove boat ramp on September 19th starting at 8:30 AM to register.

If you cannot make it up to 53rd north, but still want to participate, you can obtain an assignment by contacting mspetit@nmb.us, or knmbb@nmb.us, or call 843-281-3732 by September 17th.

WHAT’S PROVIDED?

During registration we identify areas to clean and provide you with a litter picker-upper, gloves, trash bags, tally sheets, etc.

Actual cleanup takes place from 9am-11 am. If you have a kayak or boat, please bring it if you want to help with the marsh cleanup effort.

Between 11am and 12pm volunteers drop off their borrowed supplies and tally sheets, all are invited to join KNMBB at the Cherry Grove boat ramp for food and drinks.The Beach Sweep / Creek Sweep is also a great opportunity for students and employees to obtain community service hours.
