Columbia Girls Who Walk is partnering with the Gills Creek Watershed Association (GCWA) for a litter cleanup event on Sunday, March 22 at 10:00 AM!

Meet us in the Rosewood Crossing parking lot near Ft. Jackson Blvd and Gills Creek to take part in a community cleanup mission. This location offers options for participants of varying comfort levels and abilities, from creekbank areas and sidewalk stretches along Ft. Jackson Blvd to accessible sections of the parking lot. Everyone can choose the terrain that feels right for them.

GCWA will provide safety vests, gloves, litter grabbers, and trash bags. Please wear comfortable and athletic clothes and closed-toed shoes you wouldn’t mind getting a little dirty. Since the temperature in March can be variable, keep an eye on the forecast and dress for the weather!
