Join your fellow Droids, Jedis, Siths, Stormtroopers, Mandalorians, and Wookies for this Star Wars-themed litter sweep, where the force is strong, and our volunteers are even stronger!

WHO: Keep Charleston Beautiful and community volunteers
WHERE: Volunteers should meet in Marion Square

Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged. Get creative and use what you have! T-shirts, robes, masks, or go for the full costume. We will have a stellar prize for the Best Costume. Remember that you’ll also have a trash grabber, bucket, or trashbag to carry. 

Volunteers will be assigned to a Faction upon arrival:
• Jedi Cleaners – Bring balance to the city by removing litter
• Rebel Recyclers – Focus on collecting and sorting recyclables
• Sith Sweepers – Clear stormdrain/weeds, find cigarette butts
• Droid Detail – For families w/kids, focusing on small litter pieces

We are encouraging our volunteers to embark on an epic journey through the Charleston cosmos after the cleanup. By that we mean – we are encouraging volunteers to meet up and mingle on the Stars Rooftop after the event.
