During this event, children inside the library will be supervised by volunteers to take part in fun educational activities: a presentation by 2 PalmettoPride Youth Ambassador high schoolers; a short and sweet YouTube video on waste; trivia on what they’ve learned; and a recycled art activity or coloring sheets (to end it off). During this, we recommend parents and guardians can participate in the litter cleanup outside—to keep our neighborhoods clean, and record what we find through the Litter Journal, in order to influence policies that protect everyone’s futures.
