Clean Teams

We are looking for a few thousand good Samaritans to help us create a social norm that littering is not okay. PalmettoPride was created to engage PEOPLE to take responsibility for their communities and eradicate litter. We created PalmettoPride Clean Teams to give citizens a simple framework to facilitate their participation. We need YOU to engage neighbors, family and friends to adopt a special area to monitor and clean up regularly.

We can help identify the right program for your team and provide resources to help you get started.

We will also announce your team on social media when we hear from you about your cleanups. So take pictures of your group and share them with us. We would love to hear from you and see your team in action! Sign up below. For more information, contact jberry@palmettopride.org.

What is required of Clean Team?

• Four required litter pickups a year
• Report your clean up results
• Monitor your area for illegal dumpsites, graffiti and vandalism and report to local law enforcement.

While we only require four litter pickups a year, we encourage your Clean Team to pick up litter when you see it. You may want to recycle your collected trash. Anything and everything is appreciated!
