Turn trash into treasure
Create a litter prevention message with collected trash and earn some cash for your school organization. Eco-Art Exhibits offer middle school organizations/clubs an opportunity to create a litter prevention message using gathered litter.
How it works

Organizations must apply online to participate.

PalmettoPride provides participating school with pickup supplies and signage/flyers/press releases announcing the Litter Art event.

Students and school announce the Litter Art event and post information on social media.

Students perform litter pickup. Using the gathered litter and appropriate safety precautions, students create temporary art installation. School representatives photograph the completed artwork and students participating before dismantling and properly disposing of litter.

School representatives post student efforts on social media and submit photographs of the litter pickup and artwork as well as an affidavit confirming the student efforts to PalmettoPride.
PalmettoPride provides $250 stipend to organization. Each school may host multiple Litter Art installations but is allowed one stipend annually. Stipends are awarded first come-first serve basis up to 25 Litter Art installations. Contact education@palmettopride.org to learn more!
