This Year’s Impact
PalmettoPride’s second annual SC Sweep, held March 21 through March 29, saw significant growth in just its second year, increasing from more than 80 tons of litter removed in its first year to 244 tons collected statewide in 2026. Originally launched to bring fresh energy to spring cleanups, the campaign has evolved into a coordinated statewide movement powered by South Carolinians who care deeply about keeping their communities clean and beautiful.
