Gifts in memory or in honor of someone
This is a great way to honor a friend, relative, coworker, etc. is by making a donation in their name to celebrate a special occasion (i.e. birthday, anniversary, holiday). Or, remember someone special from your life, by making a donation in memory of them. PalmettoPride will send a card to the person you designate, acknowledging your tribute.
Planned giving
One way to support our mission is through a planned gift. A legacy gift can include: bequests, IRA charitable rollover, stocks and bonds, beneficiary designated gifts, charitable gift annuity, real estate, and more. Contributions through tax donations
Support the enforcement of South Carolina’s litter laws by donating to the SC Litter Control Enforcement Program on your SC I-330 tax form.
From trash on the highways to illegal dumping in parks and public lands, litter is a significant and costly problem in South Carolina. The cost of cleaning it up is a drain on the state’s resources. In making this contribution when you file your SC1040, you can help support the enforcement of litter laws and help us catch those that trash our beautiful state.
Your donation can be used as a credit against your SC state income tax liability. All donations are tax deductible and funds go directly to enforcement agencies by providing equipment and resources needed to document litter violations.
Keep It Beautiful
The “Keep It Beautiful” license plate was created by the South Carolina Department of Transportation in 1991 to raise funds for highway beautification in South Carolina. The initial emphasis was on the State Wildflower Program, but the program has now been expanded to include all types of enhancements.
The Keep It Beautiful License Plate Program allows everyone to take part in the state’s highway beautification efforts. Since the beginning of the program, more than 12,000 tags have been purchased by highway beautification advocates across South Carolina. Proceeds from tag sales are placed in the Keep It Beautiful Account to be used exclusively for highway beautification. Eligible projects include wildflower planting, gateway projects, landscaping and bike or pedestrian paths.
