Keep South Carolina Beautiful Presents Awards to Affiliates and Partners
Columbia, SC (November 30, 2021) – Keep South Carolina Beautiful, the state affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and a division of PalmettoPride, recognized affiliates and local partners for efforts in litter prevention in their home cities and counties during the annual conference held in Myrtle Beach, September 8-10, 2021.
Affiliates implement programs in the areas of waste reduction, litter prevention and beautification with the overall mission to improve communities. Keep South Carolina Beautiful has seen a significant increase in affiliates and participation in recent years. In 2021, the South Carolina network comprised 20% of the new affiliates with the national Keep America Beautiful network.
Since 2020, South Carolina has certified six new affiliates: Keep Jasper County Beautiful, Keep Conway Beautiful, Keep Walterboro Beautiful, Keep Lancaster County Beautiful, Keep Pickens County Beautiful, and Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful.
