PalmettoPride Announces New Board Members

Columbia, SC (May 27, 2021)– PalmettoPride, South Carolina’s anti-litter organization, announces three new members to their Board of Directors:

• Ladson Fishburne, Colleton County, Appointed by Gov. McMaster
• Allison Harvey, Town of Clover, Appointed by the Senate
• Jane Pigg, Cheraw, Appointed by the House of Representatives

PalmettoPride is authorized by the State of South Carolina to coordinate and implement statewide and local programs for litter control. It operates a litter reduction platform of Education, Enforcement, Awareness and Pickup.

PalmettoPride formed in 1997 as a legislative task force to address litter concerns in South Carolina. In 2001, the organization became a 501(c) 3 and established with its current board structure in 2006.
