Sponsors Needed for PalmettoPride’s Annual Francis Marion Cleanup
Columbia, SC (November 2017) – The Francis Marion National Forest Cleanup is an annual event in February that brings together more than 300 volunteers for a one-day event to pick up litter from one of the state’s most popular outdoor recreational areas. The event hosts, PalmettoPride and the USDA Forest Service, have brought in new supporting organizations including The Nature Conservancy and the Palmetto Conservation Foundation along with long time partners Keep North Charleston Beautiful and Keep Charleston Beautiful. We are looking for the business community to join the event as sponsors.
This event is a great opportunity for businesses to show their support for a cleaner environment by providing sponsorship dollars and in-kind gifts. Various levels are available and are tax deductible. Each company participating will receive quality recognition for their support of the event. Please know that any amount you are able to contribute will greatly assist in the cleanup efforts.
The 11th annual Francis Marion National Forest Cleanup will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. The event is coordinated by the USDA Forest Service, PalmettoPride, Berkeley County Solid Waste Authority and Charleston County.
