Join Keep Charleston Beautiful from 9am to 11am on Saturday, September 19th as we cleanup along part of the Ashley River at Northbridge Park! 

Beach Sweep/River Sweep is South Carolina’s largest one-day volunteer waterway cleanup event. Every 3rd Saturday in September since 1988, thousands of South Carolinians clear beaches, rivers, lakes, marshes, and swamps of aquatic debris. This event is in collaboration with the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium. 

Plastic pollution is a massive problem for our ocean, but even small actions can make a big difference. Every bottle, every straw, every piece of trash you clean up can lead to a cleaner, healthier ocean. Join us this season to clean up your local beach, stream, park or neighborhood. When we clean up our home, all those that live in the ocean can #SeaTheChange.
